Your Favorite North Coast Recipes of 2018

We thought it would be a good time while the New Year’s resolutions are fresh in your mind, to share the most favorite North Coast recipes of 2018. It’s always fun to look at what recipe pages were visited the most and see what is grabbing the attention of our beloved followers. Some of them sweet, some of them savory, but with all recipes made with apple juice or apple sauce to throw in a little natural sweetness or take out additional fat, you’ll be able to feel good about that. And don’t forget the ones made with apple cider vinegar. The more you can incorporate apple cider vinegar into your diet in 2019, the better off you’ll be!

Are you ready? Let’s start with the sweet because that seems to be where the focus was! In no specific order…..

Apple Cider Pound Cake  Need we say more? Fairly light, super moist, and crazy delicious, this loaf pan cake has the sweet apple cider flavor your pound cake has been missing. Who knew?

Apple Sauce Fritters  Well this was a given, right? Doughnuts, fritters, they’re all the same, and usually on the list of most favorite things. Shhhh, we won’t tell.

Chocolate Apple Sauce Cake  Okay, no specific order but after this chocolate cake recipe was posted in Woman’s Day magazine last May, it was definitely the next cake that a lot of people made, and obviously now a go-to for many. You can see that article here.

Caramel Apple Punch  Caramel Apples bring back so many childhood memories, so why not re-live some of those moments with this refreshing (adult) beverage? Of course, you’ll still have to have the caramel apples readily available for the kids. No need for any fairness issues! Another fun video on how to prepare this magnificent cocktail here.

Black Bean Brownies  Yep, you heard it right and man was this recipe a hit! So much so that it was picked up by Honest Cooking magazine and was shared by thousands. Nobody believed that you could make brownies using black beans but now we know. Watch how easily and quickly you can have these delicious and incredibly moist brownies here.

Are you hungry yet? We thought so. On to the savory…..

Marinated Chicken Tacos  Prepared in honor of Cinco de Mayo, these tender and super flavorful chicken tacos spread across dinner menus throughout the summer. It’s all thanks to the apple cider and apple cider vinegar in the marinade. #marinadeaddiction

Pineapple Bacon Coleslaw  This recipe sure went viral, we assume the bacon may have had something to do with it! You can watch the video to see how quick and easy it is to make here.

Apple Cider Beef Stew  Another favorite made with both Apple Cider and Apple Cider Vinegar which guarantees the beef will be fall apart, melt in your mouth good. Can be made in a slow-cooker or a pot on your stove. Either way, it’s a win!

Pulled Chicken Sandwiches  Not only is this pulled chicken cooked in our apple sauce and apple cider vinegar, but the BBQ sauce added in the recipe is made with them too, creating an irresistible sweet and zesty flavor. Whoever said that BBQ sauce had to have added sugar to taste good was definitely mistaken. You can use our BBQ Sauce to enhance any recipe.

Apple Cider Moscow Mule  A mule with a special twist, Apple Cider! (Of course you can make it with any of our apple juices, as they are all unfiltered and will bring the same hint of amazing apple taste). You can also choose to substitute tequila for the vodka. Maker’s choice.

So that’s it for 2018, and we’re so excited to see what 2019 will bring.
