North Coast Apple Fries with ACV Bourbon Dipping Sauce

Ingredients
Caramel sauce
- 1 cup sugar brown or coconut
- ¼ cup North Coast Apple Cider
- 1 tbsp bourbon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 tbsp butter
Apple Fries
- 1 apple peeled and cut into 10 segments
- 1 cup flour
- ¼ cup flour additional
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp sugar
- ¾ cup North Coast Apple Cider
- 2 tbsp oil vegetable or coconut
Instructions
- In a small saucepan add brown or coconut sugar, cream, apple cider, bourbon, vanilla and butter. Bring to a boil on medium high heat and whisk until thickened (about 10 minutes). Set aside.
- In a large bowl combine flour, cinnamon, sugar, and apple cider thoroughly. Add oil to a large frying pan or Dutch oven and heat on medium heat.
- Place additional 1/4 C. flour onto a small plate.
- Once oil is hot and ready, dredge apple slice in flour and then coat in batter.
- Place apple slice in oil and cook for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and place on paper towel to cool.
- Serve with bourbon caramel dipping sauce.
