North Coast Apple Fries with ACV Bourbon Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

Apple Fries

  • 1 apple peeled and cut into 10 segments
  • 1 cup flour
  • ¼ cup flour additional
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • ¾ cup North Coast Apple Cider
  • 2 tbsp oil vegetable or coconut

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan add brown or coconut sugar, cream, apple cider, bourbon, vanilla and butter. Bring to a boil on medium high heat and whisk until thickened (about 10 minutes). Set aside.
  • In a large bowl combine flour, cinnamon, sugar, and apple cider thoroughly. Add oil to a large frying pan or Dutch oven and heat on medium heat.
  • Place additional 1/4 C. flour onto a small plate.
  • Once oil is hot and ready, dredge apple slice in flour and then coat in batter.
  • Place apple slice in oil and cook for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and place on paper towel to cool.
  • Serve with bourbon caramel dipping sauce.
