Caramel Apple Punch

Ingredients:

Caramel:

1 C. North Coast apple cider or juice

1/2 C. sugar

1/4 C. milk or cream

1 Tbsp. butter

Pinch of salt

For drink:

1&1/2 C. North Coast apple cider or juice

1 shot of dark spiced rum

1 shot of Grand Marnier

Sparkling water

Directions:

Chill glasses in refrigerator 30 minutes prior to making.

To make caramel, boil down apple cider on medium heat for 10-15 minutes gently whisking (apple cider should reduce down to about 1/3)

Add sugar, milk and butter to apple cider and bring to a boil

Continue to whisk until thick, approximately 5-10 minutes

Let caramel cool for 10 minutes

Once cooled, spoon a bit of caramel around rim of glass

It will harden slightly on chilled glass

Combine apple cider, rum, Grand Marnier, 1 tsp. of apple caramel and ice to a shaker

Shake well and pour into caramel rimmed glass

Serve with additional ice if desired
