North Coast Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1 apple sliced
  • ½ tbsp coconut oil or butter
  • ¾ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup milk regular or nut-based
  • ½ cup North Coast Apple Sauce
  • 2 tbsp ground flax seed
  • ½ tbsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp pecans chopped
  • pinch salt

Instructions

  • Heat a medium sized pan to medium high heat and add coconut oil.
  • Once oil is hot add diced apple and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon. Cook until apples are tender.
  • Combine oats, milk, apple sauce, ground flax seed, vanilla and maple syrup to a large bowl. Stir to combine well.
  • Add 1/2 of oats into a Mason jar and top with 1/2 of sautéed apples.
  • Repeat in second Mason jar. Seal and refrigerate overnight.
