These may just be the easiest Christmas ornaments you’ve ever made, and they will leave your house smelling AMAZING! Don’t be intimidated, the dough is simple to make, roll out, and place on the cookie sheets. This recipe is easily doubled so you can make a bunch to give away as presents too! This is one holiday tradition that will remain with you for years to come!

Ingredients:

2 cups cinnamon

1 ½ cups North Coast Apple Sauce

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix the cinnamon and apple sauce in a bowl with a small spatula, scraping it along the sides of the bowl to incorporate the mixture together. Separate into two equal parts, and roll out one at a time in between two pieces of saran wrap to 1/3 inch thickness. Smooth the saran wrap as you go to prevent wrinkling and cracks in the dough. Cut out to desired shapes and transfer to the baking sheets. Using a straw, poke a hole in the top of each ornament. Bake for 2 ½ to 3 hours and transfer to a wire rack to cool. You may want to allow for additional drying time or you can string with ribbon and hang up right away. Easy-peasy!
